NEW BUILDINGS.
No large buildings have been erected during the year. Plans and specifications have been prepared for a large normal school building at Atlanta, to which the American Baptist Education Society has appropriated $35,000 from Mr. John D. Rockefeller's gifts for educational purposes. A corresponding building, only a part of which, however, will be erected the coming year, is projected for Bishop College, Marshall, Texas. Ground has been broken, and other preparations are already in progress.
