Bill - re Waring Family -

I recall an article in _Negro History Bulletin_ about the Waring
Family published ca 1950.

BTW - Everett J. WARING was the editor and publisher of the
_Afro-American_ (a newspaper) Columbus, Ohio (1901). He also
edited a magazine called _Black and White_ (vol.1) published by
the Afro-American Tract Society, Columbus, OH on 1901. Cf.
_Cl;eveland Gazette_ (April 27, 1901)

Champion J. Waring taugh school at the Albany Enterprise Academy
(1877 & 1878). Graduate of Hampton Institute (1875). Later
graduated from Dartmouth College. Cf. Carter G. Woodson Papers -
Library of Congress, Container #5.

C.G. Woodson may have written the piece in the _Negro History
Bulletin_ mentioned above.
