The Colored Texas State Teachers' Association meets at Marshall December 27. 28, and 29. The secretary informs us a large attendance is expected. All colored teachers and all friends of education are cordially invited to attend this meeting. Arrangements have been made with the railroads for reduced rates. The law makes it the duty of public school teachers to attend teachers' meetings as far as possible; they ought to attend such meetings from a patriotic duty, and for the good to be derived therefrom.
