Notwithstanding the inclement weather the State Teachers' Association was fairly well attended. Dr. I. B. Scott, editor of the Southwestern Christian Advocate, and Prof. H. T. Kealing. of the A. M. E. Review, both of whom were active in the organization of this association, were in attendance and lent their aid and influence in making the meetings interesting. F. W. Gross, of Victoria, is president-elect.
