| Willamson M. Freeman House On November 19, 1860, the commissioner court declared the house of W. M. W. Freeman to be the courthouses until such time as a permanent building could be erected by the county. Freeman Hall, as the building was known, continued to be use as a courthouse until 1874, although various additional buildings and rooms were rented from time to time. |
