IOWA CONFERENCE.

We come to-day with greetings and unfeigned gratitude to God for his mercies to us personally, and for his blessing upon the work.

Our cause is slowly gaining the sympathy and hearts of the people. Six new Societies have been organized, and we have crossed the thousand line in Auxiliary membership. We now have forty-nine organizations, with over fourteen hundred members. There has been an awakening among the young people, upon whom our future success rests. We have had a creditable increase in contributions from the regular sources, and also a legacy of $3,000 from Mrs. Eliza Dee (of precious memory), of First Church. Burlington, which makes the largest gift in our history. This is our first bequest, and we are hoping for many more.
