We have had our first bequest this year. Mrs. Eliza Dee, of Burlington, Iowa, willed us three thousand dollars. The estate has not yet been settled, but the bequest will come to us in due time. The year has closed. The seed has been sown. It has been watered with tears, and harrowed with prayers, and the Lord of the harvest has promised sheaves. (MRS.) Lavanda G.
